From 14 to 16 May 2024, we were delighted to welcome many visitors to our stand at UNITI Expo. Once again, we were able to present our telemetry solutions and highlight their added value for our customers, particularly in terms of service station logistics.

Solutions drawing interest from players in the global South

This was Sensile Technologies’ fifth appearance at UNITI Expo, Europe’s leading trade fair for the petroleum product distribution and carwash sectors, held every two years in Stuttgart, Germany. “There was a good turnout, with visitors from Europe as well as Africa and the Middle East,” says CEO Cédric Morel.

Sensile Technologies’ solutions, which already have a strong presence in Western Europe and the Nordic countries, are now attracting more and more players from all over Africa and Latin America. As Cédric Morel explains, “Our solution is unique in offering enough precision to manage a service station network effectively, while being very affordable in terms of cost. Our customers therefore get a rapid return on their investment.”

Different contexts, same need for solid, low-cost solutions

The trade fair also features several conferences. Silvia König, who recently joined our company as Head of Business Development and was attending the fair for the first time, participated in one of these conferences, which focused on the South American market. She pointed out: “In Latin America, we’re not talking about electric cars yet: the priority is to modernise service stations. But the IIoT is interesting because it helps to optimise logistics costs and improve profitability.”

“In Europe,” she continues, “players are hesitating between continuing to invest in petrol pumps or turning more towards electric car chargers. In this context of uncertainty, the low investment required to install our solutions is also advantageous for European customers, who are looking to improve their carbon footprint on the existing installation.”

See you in 2 years!

Thank you to everyone who visited our stand. See you in 2026, in Stuttgart again, from 19 to 21 May.
