LPG Week took place in Rome this year from November 13 to 17, in the form of a major event combining the World LPG Forum and the European Liquid Gas Congress. Since 2012, we have been taking part to meet our customers and exchange ideas with other LPG industry players.

A booth to discuss IIoT, telemetry and logistics optimization

Sensile Technologies was one of 120 exhibitors at LPG Week 2023, an event that welcomed some 2,600 participants from all over the world. Thanks to our coffee machine, our booth provided an ideal meeting place, enabling us to catch up with long-standing customers and make new contacts.

Alain Bittinger, Account Manager, comments: “These meetings are ideal for raising awareness of our solutions for remote monitoring of gas tanks and cylinders. Our visitors come to find out about our innovations and how they can optimize their logistics with our IIoT”.

Our telemetry solutions are constantly evolving, in terms of data transmission technology, energy efficiency and production costs. Our objectives, however, remain the same: to meet the highest standards of quality and reliability, and to offer our customers the best possible return on their investment.

Renewable fuels and energy transition

During the week, our CEO Cédric Morel took part in a brainstorming session on how LPG distributors can help their customers reduce their energy consumption. In his view, IIoT plays a key role: “To optimize your consumption, you need to know it, i.e., measure it. Telemetry solutions such as ours make it possible to measure consumption and provide valuable indicators for decision-making”.

At the same time, research and development on alternative fuels continues. That is why this edition of LPG Week inaugurated the creation of the Global Science Council (GSC), a new global forum dedicated to the most promising academic and technological advances in renewable fuels for the LPG industry.

Two dates in 2024

We look forward to seeing you in 2024 for the two key LPG events: we will be in Lyon from June 18 to 20 for the European Liquid Gas Congress, and in Cape Town from November 18 to 22 for LPG Week.
